Background

Now in its ninth year, The New School’s Fall Festival tradition represents an occasion when the school and neighboring communities come together to enjoy a memorable experience of community spirit, fun, and entertainment. With close to six hundred people in attendance last year, our festival is now a popular fixture in the local community’s fall calendar!

We will be presenting our first annual chili cookoff!
All order forms will now be processed online (admissions and t-shirts). No more wasted reams of paper!
Our new location will have indoor spaces available for eating and vendors.

Theme and Attractions

The event is educational and fun as we highlight a theme to inspire our students. This year’s theme is North Carolina. Classrooms have chosen topics from NC’s rich heritage, history, and culture to study in preparation for the event. Be on the lookout for samples of these projects at the festival.

Festival attendees will enjoy rides, bouncy houses, games with prizes, food, music, and activities for all ages from toddlers to parents. We’ll also have face painters, local vendors, and much more!

Admissions

All children (aged two and up) and adults entering the festival must purchase an admissions ticket, either before the event or on the day of the festival.

Our special “Early Bird” admission price for those purchasing before October 11 is $15 per attendee.
All orders after October 11 increase to $18 per attendee.
Children under 2 years of age are free.

Admission prices include unlimited access to all rides, games, and parking! Not included are the bake sale, special “NC Challenge Events”, or food and drink purchases. Make sure to order your tickets early!

Sponsors and vendors not only enjoy a wide range of advertising support and recognition from the school community, but, depending on the level of sponsorship, may also receive free festival goods and food!
