Not long after TNS was founded in 1984, International Night became an annual tradition. Created to immerse students in the rich diversity of world cultures and foster tolerance, this longstanding event reflects the global perspective at the core of our peace curriculum.

At the beginning of the school year, each classroom selects a country to study throughout the year. As students explore their chosen country, they engage in activities that celebrate its culture through food, language, music, artifacts and art, traditional costumes, research projects, and more.

Now, 40 years later, the event continues as a daytime celebration, with each classroom participating in its own unique format. This Friday, our students will honor their selected countries through various activities.
