Spring Fling and 5K Run
We’re excited to invite you to our annual Spring Fling—an exciting day for the whole family! This community event is packed with fun activities, and we invite you to join us for an action-packed day of games, crafts, food, and more!
Event Highlights
In addition to the 5k and Fun Run, our Spring Fling will offer a variety of family-friendly activities, including:
- Games and crafts for all ages
- Face painting by the Student Council
- Local vendors, including our MAP Market and food trucks
5k Race
Lace up your running shoes and join us for the annual 5k race! This 3.1-mile out-and-back run takes you through the beautiful and scenic trails of Harris Lake County Park. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to get active, this event promises an enjoyable experience for participants of all levels.
Registration Fees:
- Early Bird: $35 (Now – 1/31/2025)
- Regular: $50 (2/1/2025 – 3/29/2025)
Your registration includes race entry, a commemorative t-shirt, a medal to celebrate your achievement, and one hour of volunteer time!
The race will kick off at 9:30 AM, so be sure to arrive early for check-in and warm-up. We look forward to seeing you run, walk, or jog through the beautiful park and celebrate the joy of outdoor fitness!
Fun Run
Not quite up for a 5k, or looking for a fun way for your little ones to participate? The Fun Run is a short, family-friendly event that’s perfect for all ages! This easy-paced run takes participants near the Loblolly Shelter and playground, making it a great option for families to enjoy together.
Registration Fee:
- $10 per runner
Includes race entry, a t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your participation.
Whether you’re joining in with your kids or just prefer a shorter run, the Fun Run is a great way to be part of the excitement of the day.
If you’re participating in both the 5k and Fun Run, please register only for the 5k.
